I followed the steps exactly, the fan does accept my input from step 6, but it immediately goes back to factory setting. How do I make it permanent? I am using the BIOS from https://forum.alliwava.com/threads/alliwava-u58-ryzen-7-5800u-ami-bios.27/ with default settings.

It does work. You can find a manual on Youtube, its called : Adjust TDP and VRAM in BIOS for Beelink SER5 Pro (Ryzen 7 5800H) only change GFX configuration for VRAM change.

Even at less than 5W the fans are spinning. It takes 0 load for my U58s fans to start. If the fans started later at e.g. 45C it would still have no bad effect on stability. I beg you, please just give experienced users an accessible fan curve.
